Welcome to the selling LJ for my items made under the brand name, SugarLolly!
I make high quality fun FRUiTSY/EGL Japanese Street Fashion inspired clothing, accessories, and other items! Most of my items are sewn fabric crafts, but sometimes I venture into other areas! All of my items are OOAK unless otherwise noted! My shirts are 2OAK - as the one I make for the model (me) is mine, and I will only remake an exact replica of it once for sale. All wallets, purses, bracelets, and anything else made are OOAK unless I say so! I may make something from the same fabric, but it will not be the same thing!

NOTICE: As of May 10th, 2006 - I am no longer accepting any custom/commission orders for *anything* until at least mid-June. Please contact me if you would like to order something and I can put you on a "waiting list" that will then be completed as soon as possible (but most likely not until after mid-June). Purchases can still be made on pre-made items! This pause in production only pertains to commission based sales. Thanks!

Hey guys. Today was pretty poop tastic, though I hope you all had wonderful Valentines days~ Well. We had a pretty hardcore storm... so I didnt have to work today (and all schools were closed), that was good. But then the bad... I got a letter from FIT... a rejection letter. Turns out so many people applied, they just automatically denied anyone with anything below a 3.0 GPA (I have a 2.6), so... I got really upset about it... like crying for 5 hours upset (and still pretty touchy). But Im determined. Even if it means I have to go to community college for another year, I WILL get in next fall!!!
But good things come from bad? Well no... good things come from me trying to feel better by spending lots of money!!!
1) I bought tickets to see Hanson in concert TWICE next month - YAY!!! Btw - if anyone lives up in NJ/PA - thats where theyre playing and I would love to meet some of you lovlies! Especially since Im going alooooone. ToT
2) I found an amazing guy to do my webwork for me!!!! Which means in 1-3 weeks, there will be an official Sugar Lolly website!!! But... maybe nothing up on it for sale yet. XD I gotta pop stuff out like WOAH for the grand opening! So the site will be ready in 1-3 weeks, but I may not open it for a couple of months.
3) I told myself that if I didnt get into FIT, I would get a bird (Ive wanted one for awhile now, but I didnt want to leave my mom with another animal). So, as soon as the tax return comes in and all is settled, I am going to be the proud owner of a baby parakeet. Who I kinda want to name Pudgy but I wont know untill I get him/her!
Though... bad things come from this as well... of course another year at RVCC, another year at home, and I dont get to get my second tattoo that my dad said he would give me permission to get (and pay for). Though... thats not really fair. I really did work SO hard, its not my fault I didnt get in.
But the best part of all (especially for you guys), is that Ill have another year to make things like a crazy lady to sell! No crazy events this year, at least none that I know of now. So, I really will be able to put all of my sewing time and attention into Sugar Lolly!!!
So let me know what kind of things you would like to see, and your price ranges on them! :D Right now Im making a whole bunch of bracelets (Easiest and fastest for me to pop out, and they make me happy to make). They will probably be for sale at about $6 each, but that may change! Depends on the bracelet too! All styles will be OOAK as always too (unless noted! Im thinking about doing limited runs). Im also going to try to make some more shirts and skirts in premade sizes to list up for sale. And Ill be back with wallets and purses!!!
I missed you guys, and even though right now is a really tough time for me. Im trying to be optimistic!

Hey guys! How are you all?!?! Sorry! I havent abandoned you! So much has happened! So, as I mentioned before... Im working on my application for FIT. Including making tons of stuff for my interview! This is what I finished today! And I went to the mall in it! I got *SO* many compliments on it! 2 from kiosk people, 1 from my friends coworker, 1 from my friend, 1 from the girl at MAC, 1 from our waitress at TGI Fridays, and 1 from some random girl in the bathroom. I LOVE it. Its my favorite thing EVER. Tell me what you think about it!!! I want FEEDBACK!!!
 
In other news... I currently have the AMAZING sickforcute doing some logo work for me - so watch out! Ill have a REAL logo soon! And hopefully a REAL website!!! I have to pop out outfits like a mad lady for the next month, so you guys get to see it all!
Also - Im going to be doing a craft fair next September in Hackettstown, NJ. What do you guys think I should make? I was thinking wallets, fabric jewelry, maybe a couple of shirts. Nothing too intense, cause people arent looking to drop big money at craft fairs. My mom and sister are going to do it with me too! My mom will be selling draft blockers and my sister... will do whatever she can think of. Teehee~ runs in the family?

Hey guys! :D Im still alive!!! Working ever so hard on my portfolio! :D Ive applied to FIT and I have to turn in a killer portfolio! So... you guys will get to see all of my creations! Well the sewn ones. I wont bore you with the drawn ones that I dont sew. They wont be up for sale, but I would love to get your opinions on them! :D
Speaking of sale... muahaha~ soon I hope to have a real logo! :D And from that will come a website, and merchandise! :D Still planning on keeping my stuff very limited! ^_^ So hopefully something will happen within the next few months!

Eeeee! Home from London! Well Ive been home. Just crazy busy! Jet lag stuff stinks!!! *dies* But Im back to normal! Working like a crazy lady!!! Worked 10 hours yesterday, worked 10 hours today, I have tomorrow off, working 10 hours on thursday, working 5.5 hours on friday, working 7.5 hours on saturday, 3 hours on sunday, 10 hours on monday, 10 hours on tuesday, and then... WHO KNOWS!!!!
School starts on Wednesday. :x
So yeah~ have some things (an order and swaps) that Im workin my arse off on~ tomorrow, friday, saturday, and sunday are going to be my only sewing days. No way I can work 10 hour shifts and then sew... Ive tried! x_x;;; And I shall get everything finished on those days. n.n
As for classes...
Mondays and Wednesdays:
Color Theory - (11:00am - 12:50pm)
Two Dimensional Design - (1:30pm - 3:20pm)
Tuesdays:
Drawing II - (1:30pm - 5:20pm)
Video Production - (6:10pm - 10:00pm)
Thursday-Sunday: None
What a retarded schedule... >_> What a waste of money and time. :x All of that just to make mommy and daddy happy. I have absolutely no use with any of those classes. XD Only classes that might benefit me even the slightest is Color Theory and Drawing II. They MIGHT transfer to a fashion school. :x
Yeah. XD So Ill have all my sewing hubbub done by Sunday~ or at least all of the things that have to be done by then (some of the swaps dont have to be).
Tomorrow I wake up early to run to the bank, fabric store, post office... and then come home and start crackin! Wish me luck? XD <3

Hey guys! :D <3 Sorry for no recent updates~ getting ready for OTAKON!!! Yeah >_> Im an anime convention dork. But I cosplay~ so duh. X3 Im actually not cosplaying at Otakon this year. All I have made is one rave outfit... and thats obviously for the raves. If you see me, say hi! XD My pants have my name down the side of them in silver... >_> roflmao yeah Im lame. Look for knee high black boots, puffy black army pants with SHELI down the side, fishnet top, lots of chain, purple and pink camo underbust corset, and crazy ass wig thats probably down to my knees. :D I dont bite! X3
But yeah. So... I counted. I now have 67 friends~ Of those 67 people on here... I only knew 11 of them before I started up this website... and Ive asked this before, but now I have new friends! Who are you other 56 people?! :D Some of you have answered, so you dont have to answer again. X3 Who are you? How did you find me? Why did you add me? :D Please let me know!!! ^_^
Besides that... I have one pad order at the moment, and after thats done and Otakon is all finished... I shall get some more SugarLolly things up!!! :D
Oh and yeah. Totally just remembered. I will be gone the 10-20th! I shall be visiting London... O_o weird. So yeah... incase yall wanted to know where I am. :x

Aight guys. I raised the prices on my cloth pads. :x I hated to do it~ but Im going to be selling through consignment now as well - so I had to, otherwise I wouldnt be making any money. ^^;;; I raised it just enough to get what I was getting before (after consignment). Anyone who has already paid me for an order or is close to it - will not be affected by this change. Any orders placed after... now. Will be. <3
